Dar-e-Ehsas Publications is a nonprofit organization aimed at promoting a culture of book reading by way of publication and distribution of literature that can help intellectual, moral and spiritual growth of our society. It also aims at promoting young writers, especially from the periphery by helping them out in publishing their books. The basic theme of this project stems from teaching of Hz. Wasif Ali Wasif (reh). The very name, “درِ احساس”is taken from his well know verse:
وہ مطمئن کہ زیاں جو ہوا ، ہوا واصفؔ
مجھے یہ فکر کہ ہو کیسے وا درِ احساس
[He is quite contented with the loss whatsoever, whereas I am concerned with the awakening of self-enlightenment]
Dar-e-Ehsas is honored being sole distributor of books by Hz. Wasif Ali Wasif. It is one of the projects of Majlis-e-Fikr-e-Wasif مجلسِ فکر واصفؒ founded by Dr. Azhar Waheed, in tribute to his spiritual Master, Hz. Wasif Ali Wasif.
